Acacia Guest House

Chris C, Failed to mention he negociated a 40% off deal in his booking whitch was for 5 nights 2 nights one week and 3 of another week. We were unable to accomadate all of the nessasary rooms he required so recomended another guest house whitch Chris also canceled outside of the cancelation policy. We were both left with loss of revenue over a two week period,as the cancelation was over a bank holiday period only one working day was given. When Special offers are given payment is at the time of booking and usualy non negociable. We only charged for the usual cancelation fee as did the other establisment. As for cashing the cheque its the only thing we knew to do with it.

We booked this guesthouse as it was close to a work location and sent a cheque 2 weeks in advance which they immediately cashed. we were forced to cancel the rooms (5 nights) more than a week in advance and they were only willing to refund part of the money - I am completely disgusted by this response - one I have had nowhere else in 4 years of booking rooms. Avoid like the plague.
