• Terrible food - better value at Weatherspoons

  Went on 18th December to the Coventry branch - good service, but terrible food. The bread for my starter Bruschetta was frozen and then not defrosted properly (frozen bread - what!!!!!) and the meatballs were OK. Seriously I have had a better meal for £5.00 in Weatherspoons. Would not recommend it.

• Bad for brunch

  I would like to begin by saying that the two stars are for the service and the coffee!Me and my family decided to go to Bella for breakfast. Ordering the Classic English breakfast. The scrambled egg was done in a micrave the chiabatta bread was dry (why not normal toast) Sausages plain and the tomatoes had at most been shown the grill! However the service was good!

• Breakfast At Bella Italia

  I said I wouldn't go here again but did as we won a free breakfast here. I thought , well you can't go wrong with breakfast can you???? Well, we (family) went on New Years Eve and it was quite quiet. Friendly waitress served us and looked after the kids. We ordered drinks which took longer than normal to come. We had explained we only had 1 hour parking. Our breakfast took around 30 mins to come and it was awful. Scrambled eggs were like rubber, the ciabatta toast was not toasted properly, grilled tomatoes were not grilled and it was tasteless. The waitress asked us how breakfast was and we said it was okay. She said "should I get the manger" and we told her not to bother. It wasn't her fault and to be honest it was free and we really didn't want another free meal there. We told her to add up the bill to see if it had gone over the "free amount" Luckily it was just short of £25 and so nothing more to pay. Thank goodness for that!!! Breakfast for 2 adults and 2 children!! Definitely not worth it. So, now even if I get a free voucher for this place, I would not go ever again.

  Awful food, usually cold and poor quality. Service to match. Would not go again to this restaurant or chain.

  I love this place!the staff are freindly and welcoming the ambiance during the day is light and the evening is romantic, and even if you have chldren it's fab they really do have something for everyone.i have been here on a night out with my freinds, family,children and even with my husband on our own so i can really recommend it for any occasion.the food is cooked from scratch and the chef is really good and can reccomend anything and everything on the menu and although the menu is changed from day to night, it does not matter at what time of day you visit all the food is glorious.the atomosphere is relaxing and the service is swift concidering the food is cooked from scratch, on every occasion i have been plesantly suprised by how well the food tastes, and i'd even recommend the childrens menu for taste and variaty.
