Mayday Trust offers more than just a roof over someone's head. We provide training and leisure opportunities for all residents. Specialist sessional workers work 1-1, and with small groups of residents, to improve literacy, money management, cooking, art and sporting skills. Through social-skills training and confidence-building programmes, Mayday prepares clients for a successful move into mainstream, independent accommodation.
Services Offered:Mayday Trust is a local charity (reg no. 1035524), which provides temporary supported accommodation and life-skills training for vulnerable adults. The Trust manages 9 Supported Housing Projects across Warwickshire, Northamptonshire and Bedfordshire. We receive referrals from statutory and voluntary organisations e.g. Social Services, MIND, CAB, Police, Prison Service, Probation Department, Psychiatric Service etc. as well as self-referrals.
Awards/Ratings/Associations:Mayday Trust was awarded Investor in People accreditiation in 1999 and the Double Tick Disability Symbol in 2000. We have also received succesful 'B' grade reviews by Supporting People.
