About Us

Brief description

Old Town Restaurant is a family run restaurant located at the entrance to Old Town, in the heart of Stratford-upon-Avon. We are only a five-minute walk from the Theatre, making us a perfect choice for a pre-theatre meal. The style of food is best described as British and the Al a Carte menu is updated seasonally. Fresh Fish & Seafood is the specialty here and we offer up to five different dishes every day. We also offer a light meal menu perfect for lunch and pre-theatre meals.

Russons is a family run restaurant, serving excellent food in a warm friendly atmosphere. We also offer an offically approved "Slimming World" menu. The menu allows Slimming World Members to enjoy upto 3 courses on Slimming World's original choice for only 1 Syn and upto to 3 courses on Slimming World's Green choice for only 1/2 a Syn.

    I will certainly be eating hear again and definatly reccomend to others! It has everything you except from a high class restuarant, good service and amazing food, but with a much smaller price tag! The building's decor is really homely and warm and is close to the threatre (which being one of Stratfords main attractions) is very useful!

    I only just went to Russons after having such good reveiws about from my freinds and to be honest i was totally shocked about how good the service was not to metion the food it was sublime. It is a lovely family run restaurant which i shall be retuing to very soon and it only cost £10 for 2 courses, which i thought was absolutly brilliant. Overall I give it an outstanding review. I loved it there

    We love this restaurant!!! We are local to Stratford and eat here regularly. We love the fact that it is family run restaurant; the Owner works in the kitchen and is often seen out on the restaurant floor, her daughter is the Restaurant Manager and her son-in-law is the Head Chef. They are always friendly and happy to see you. It’s lovely to see a family that works so well together and it is great for the customers as you can see the love attention that is put into both the food and service. The atmosphere is relaxed and the surroundings are cosy. The food is just superb and it can be so hard to choose a meal, when every single item on the menu is so divine. We eat here regularly both with friends and family. The seafood crepe is always piping hot and full of flavour, the steaks are cooked to perfection. The food is consistently magnificent and that is why it is our No. 1 restaurant.

  • 5 Fantastic Food!

    Our whole experience from satrt to finsih was fabulous. The food tasted fantastic, there was plently of choice of on the menu and the service was great. It's lovely to eat in a family run restaurant as the staff really do care about the customers. We will definitely be returning in the future.
