• A Gold Mine

  As a cabinetmaker Hafele is a goldmine of hardware that I just could not find anywhere else. They even have things that I didn't even know exist. I agree the £50 minimum order can be annoying if you just need one item, but usually my orders are large enough that it is not a problem. And over a certain order amount delivery is free. I understand that volume sales is the key to keeping their prices low, and in most cases their prices are lower than anyone elses, but I do think they ough to put in place a surcharge for smaller orders, to cater for the occasional need for just a few items.

• Review for Mail Order Branch

  I ordered some parts for a clients kitchen from Hafele, I was annoyed that there was a minimum order of £50, and then a £10 delivery charge on top, most mail order companies give a far keener service than this, and often if you spend over £50 shipping is free. When the products arrived one was damaged, in fairness a new one was sent out very promptly. Some of the other products were found to be no good, I had to wait a week to get a request to return processed, pay the shipping, plus a 25% handling charge I am disgusted with this company and will never use them again
